Thanks to the PTO, Grades 4 & 5 made six new friends. According to Marcia Wilson, this is the 12th time the 4th & 5th graders participated in this Eyes on Owls assembly since 2001. Who who knew?

I celebrated World Read Aloud Day by reading to students in K-4. I asked students to celebrate World Read Aloud Day by reading loud and proud tonight to a family member, pet or stuffed animal.
Happy 100th day of school! While K counted Fruit Loops, Grade 4 participated in NAEP testing. To reward the 4th graders for their hard work and perseverance, we gave them extra recess.

TWO-HOUR DELAY: There will be a two-hour delay to NAPS school start times today, Wednesday, Jan 10. That means that bus pickup and school start times will begin two hours later than normal.
