Today, Falls Grade 1 learned about vibration and created instruments with Mad Science. Fun Friday featured karaoke. PBIS raffle winners were drawn. What do all of these have in common? Happy New Year! We have a lot of great things planned for 2025. Afterschool enrichment begins on January 6. The Talent Show is the evening of Friday, January 24. What could be a better way to head in the December break than a snowy day and the Winter Carnival featuring Reindeer Games and Story time with the Grinch? Happy Holidays! Memorable experiences like this aren't possible without the support of amazing teachers and parent volunteers.
Great job to the 5th graders who led the whole school meeting! The meeting featured a presentation by the Mindfulness class, songs by the 4th grade chorus and the recognition of our students of the month.
On Friday, Grade 3 created Super Structures with Mad Science. Hands-on enrichment activities like this Mad Science is supported by your donations through the PTO fundraisers like the Glow Dance-a-thon.

While students worked on Fundations, Wonders, Everyday Math and Empowering Writers, 2nd graders and a group of parent volunteers made ice cream. BTW it was pretty yummy!
A lot of creativity on display as we head into Thanksgiving break. Third graders built wetus, Pilgrim houses and cities out of arrays. Second graders brought the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade to the halls of Falls. Fourth graders played rhythm matching games with Mr Littman. Congratulations to our weekly PBIS winners! Today Grade 5 engaged in Kindness activities. Some of the students had great insights into the meaning of Mismatched Sock Day. Thank you to everyone who donated food or money to our Holiday Basket program!

Friday is last day to donate to the food drive. It is also a Spirit Day. Voluntary contribution of $1 will go toward the purchase of supermarket gift cards.
Reminder: Friday is an early release day. Students are dismissed at 12:00.
Feinstein Golden Ticket winner alert!
Amber's ticket is a match! Falls has won a $5,000 grant!!! Amber and her family will also get to play philanthropist by deciding who gets an additional $500 grant. I look forward to meeting with Amber on how we should spend the money.
Mrs Hardro & Mr Sarkarati led the Fourth grade in a series of activities to promote kindness. Hopefully this will cause a chain reaction of kindness. Congrats to our PBIS winners! A very deserving group!
Falls Third Graders designed geographically accurate pizzas of Massachusetts. The Connecticut River was delicious!
Falls Fourth Graders went to the Senior Center and shared their research projects. It sounds like the students had a wonderful time!
Our 5th graders did an excellent job leading the whole school meeting. They talked about the Kindness Tree, our Food Drive and Veterans Day. We also had a very enthusiastic show of support for our Students of the Month. The love and support the students demonstrated for each other was awesome!
