Polar Plunge

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Special Olympics Massachusetts to bring the Polar Plunge to North Attleboro High School and Middle School on Thursday, March 6th. As a community, it is extremely important for us to be able to raise money along with raising awareness for Special Olympics Massachusetts and inclusion as a whole. Special Olympics is bringing Bear Force One, a mobile-pool for students and staff to jump in. Given that it is NAPS’ first plunge, we are limited in space and therefore have to cap the event to the first 150 registered students at NAMS and first 150 registered students at NAHS. Each student who plunges must raise a minimum of $25 to participate but fundraising beyond that is greatly appreciated! Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Next Steps by February 28th or until space if available include:

  • Review documents that are in our weekly NAMS Newsletter

  • Once registered through Special Olympics, please complete the NAPS Field Trip Form.

All paperwork for the Polar Plunge will be collected during school lunches the week of March 3rd. Completed paperwork includes the Special Olympics Parent/Guardian Waiver Form, NAPS Field Trip Permission Form and any remaining fundraising.

We are hopeful our NAPS Polar Plunge is a successful event.
